Daisy Jeong Pyun
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

about  ME

I was born and raised in South Korea and moved to the U.S. as a young adult.  My journey into counseling began through ministry as a campus minister with Youth With A Mission (YWAM).

With a Master’s Degree in Social Work from New York University and a wealth of experience in diverse settings, I specialize in trauma, including complex trauma and PTSD. My approach is grounded in compassion and trust, creating a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.

I use evidence-based techniques to help you heal, grow, and achieve emotional well-being. Whether you're dealing with stress, looking for personal growth, or navigating complex emotions, I'm here to support you on your journey toward mental health and resilience."

what to expect in the first session

In our first session, we will focus on getting to know each other and establishing a foundation for our work together. I will ask you about your current challenges, goals for therapy, and any previous experiences with counseling.

This session is an opportunity for you to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. We will work collaboratively to develop an understanding of your concerns and begin to outline a treatment plan that aligns with your goals.

My aim is to provide you with a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as we start this journey toward healing and self-discovery.
